Miss P turned one!

Little Miss P came to us awhile back to celebrate her first birthday.  We has a blast with her and her parents. She stunned us with her beautiful blue eyes, but the thing that made her session unique and unlike any other we have experienced is that she actually wore her mother's wedding dress in some of the pictures below.  It was amazing! What a special session this was for all of us!

Friday Favorites- OId Friends are the Best Friends!

I have heard the saying, “old friends are the best friends” many times before and lately it is just ringing so true! Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely adore all of the new people and friends that I have met and have yet to meet and soon they will become old friends too! But isn’t life funny how even when our old friends go their separate ways and we go our way, when you reconnect it’s so sweet? 

I have known both Kate and Jenny for a REALLY long time! Something along the lines of decades! I mean when did we become old enough to be using the term decades???!!! And I couldn’t be more thankful for the 2 of them in my life and in this business. 

So, if you haven’t guessed my Friday favorite is about friends! This past weekend we hosted 3 of my friends from high school and their families. We all played field hockey together and just had such a strong bond. It was so fun to see our kids play together, our husbands shoot the breeze, and us ladies sat and chat and soaked in the scene around us! I was able to snap a few of these priceless pictures of the kids going down the GIANT slip-n-slide that was so kindly and generously given to us by our neighbors! I see many of days playing on this thing in our near future!

The Burke Family

I had the opportunity to travel with my family to Massachusetts this past weekend to visit some dear friends of mine.  These are the type of friends that you would consider to be more like family than friends.  While I was there, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing my dear friend's sister and her family.
Her little guy is going to be one soon, and it seems like it was just yesterday that she was going into labor.
Happy Birthday, T!! Your smile is infectious.  You couldn't ask for a better family to be a part of and they are equally blessed to have you!!

This extended family includes two of our close friends from High School who we are always happy to reconnect with.  We met them for a fun evening shoot.  It was a special time for Grandma to get her picture with both her two children and all of her grandkids.  The kids did such a great job, and little Miss M held her own being the only girl among all the boys.
