The V Family

This was such a fun session with grandparents and their grandchildren who came from near and far for this shoot.  They were easy going, polite, and willing to do anything we asked.  They were also very helpful in getting the family dog sitting pretty and looking perfect for every picture.  We loved seeing you again for this session.  Your family is a joy to be around and we love the time we get to spend with them.

Grandma requested this shot at the end of her youngest grandson.  He just melts our hearts and we are pretty sure he melts hers too. 

Welcome Baby K!

I'm sure many of you will remember this Mom from her amazing maternity session we posted a few months ago.  Well Baby K has arrived and they are now officially a family of four!  We couldn't be happier for them and simply adore their two sweet little girls.

Little O is One!!

Ok, ok I think I can safely say that this little man is one of the happiest 1 year old boys we have ever met! I mean seriously, his smile is infectious!

We first met Owen at his newborn session where we were totally smitten by him and his super sweet parents! To watch him grow over this past year has been such a gift. Time certainly doesn't stand still for any of us, but as photographer’s it amazes us how quickly we watch our newborns turn 6 months, and 9 months and 1 year old. To see the evolution of a babe is incredible. To start to see their personalities develop is priceless.

With all of his smiling and “flirting” one can only imagine what Owen would say if he could talk! This is my take on what he would say, “I’m cute, totally cute, you know you love me. I’m even cuter naked but mom is making me wear these silly clothes. See this big dude over here – he’s my dad. He’s a funny guy. We have fun together. And oh yeah, don’t mess with him.” J

Happy 12 months Owen! We know for sure that you have blessed your mom and dad, but you certainly have blessed the pants off of us as well!

We have the most amazing clients EVER. I wish I could triple the emphasis on that – I hope by the end of this post that each of you will understand just how much you have given to our lives and our business!

When we ventured into this business it was a scary first step. Not because the business aspect was scary (I come from a family of business owners), but because business can be demanding, it can be draining, it can consume your every thought and honestly because customers are always right and that can be defeating. That’s an honest statement and it might hurt us, but it’s the truth. If business owners got together and could confide with each other they would say that much is true. Customers know it and business owners just have to take it. Well I’m here to tell you that even though we have had some bumps in the road over the last year and a half, our clients have been ABOVE and BEYOND some of the greatest people we have ever met. We yearn to catch up with you and reconnect at each of your sessions!

When we set out on a session, our hearts are screaming let’s get to know each other better! What makes your heart tick, what makes you smile endlessly, what fills your joy tank? So, not only are you our clients, but also you have become our friends and part of our extended family. We love what we do and how we do it. It’s hard to take your passion and turn it into a business and have to follow business rules and guidelines but you guys have made it worth it!
